New Orleans is our favourite city to visit when we travel and Magazine Street has a nifty bead shop that we always spend hours in - sometimes multiple times during one trip.
 
My hubby always goes bead shopping with me and he invariably finds treasures I would have overlooked. This inlaid shell pendant is one of them. When he brought it to me I could immediately see it for a great summer necklace.
 
I hung it from a silver-plated bow that dangles from a large silver-plated bail and this gorgeous pendant is strung on an adjustable black satin cord.
 
It's light weight and a perfect accessory for summer.
