Before the Storm are earrings I created to go with the Night in a Sandstorm necklace. I took a couple of the rings that are in the necklace and soft-soldered them into ovals and suspended black glass beads with copper spacers to offset them below. The results are a pair of gorgeous earrings - whether you wear them with the necklace or on their own. They are very lightweight weighing in at 3.5 gms each.

*Note - This earring card is made from a picture of my Mom with her cousins - taken when she was just a girl. An aunt had made matching crocheted dresses for them all with little matching hats. My Mom is the one on your right. I miss her a lot but get to see her on my earring cards all the time. It makes me smile and I hope it makes you smile too.
