Twila came about from my love of copper and etching. I then hand-painted these using toothpicks and the ends of wire dipped in a special metal paint that gloms onto the metal. I then sprayed them 3 times with a protective coating that enhance the beautiful shine of the copper.
 
I love the little hearts on these earrings and how the fuschia morphs into the blue to be topped with a beautiful blue gemcut glass bead. Like all my creations these are one-of-a-kind so you'll never see someone else wearing your favourite earrings!
 
*A little note about this earring card. The figure in the background in the long skirt and top is my grandfather. He's carrying his ice skates and supporting the suffragette movement with his Vote for Women sign hanging around his neck. You go Grandad!
